Art Jakarta

ara contemporary is proud to announce its debut participation in Art Jakarta 2025. Occupying a 100m² booth at C3, the gallery continues its commitment and core focus on advocating for and nurturing Southeast Asian artists. At the fair, ara contemporary will present new works by a group of highlighted artists, including Agan Harahap, Arlette Quynh-Anh Tran, Alisa Chunchue, Dita Gambiro, Enggar Rhomadioni, Ipeh Nur, Irfan Hendrian, Iwan Effendi, Kanokwan Sutthang, Lai Yu Tong, Marcos Kueh, and Natalie Sasi Organ, S. Urubingwaru, as well as works from other notable voices across Southeast Asia. A special highlight will be presented in Art Jakarta Spot by Indonesian artist Ipeh Nur, showcasing a significant work that will be exhibited in Indonesia for the first time after being featured at the Future Generation Art Prize 2024. Alongside its participation at Art Jakarta, ara contemporary also presents two solo exhibitions at its gallery spaces: Wound by Alisa Chunchue and Interloper by Mar Kristoff. Together, these exhibitions underscore the gallery's ongoing commitment to fostering dialogue, experimentation, and international collaborations.
